The Royal Purple Medicine Hat - The Royal Purple is a group of hard working volunteers who are dedicated to improving communities across Canada. When the local Royal Purple branch in Medicine Hat learned that Brain injury Relearning Services (BIRS) lost funding for their Cognitive Program, they stepped forward and offered to help. Since then the relationship has grown and the combined contributions from the Royal Purple Medicine Hat, and Bassano have helped to maintain the opportunities for people to access much needed cognitive supports.

Royal Purple members celebrate “Brain Love” every March where they highlight the importance of brain health and brain injury prevention. In 2022 the Royal Purple proudly donned the Brain Love message on their float in the Medicine Hat Stampede Parade and traveled together with the BIRS float to demonstrate the unity shared between our organizations.

From the first time Royal Purple walked through our doors and asked how they could help us, through every fundraising event, every campaign and every conversation, it was apparent that this amazing group of volunteers should be recognized for the work they do to improve communities and enrich the lives of others.
