S.T.A.R award.
We are happy to announce a new award at REDI which will recognize REDI employees. Funded in partnership with an anonymous donor, the REDI Employee Achievement S.T.A.R. Award.
The award will be made annually and recognizes REDI employees who have demonstrated achievement in investment in themselves, their community, and the people we serve.
The recipient of the award must be an employee of REDI Enterprises Society and has demonstrated achievements in the following areas:
Investment in self: Is mindful of personal health, maintains boundaries with work activities, participates in self-care and self-development activities.
Community: Supports the community at large through volunteerism, participating in local events, random acts of goodwill
The people we serve: Is creative in their approach to service delivery, maintains ethical practice in line with REDI visions and values, inspires others to do their best work and enhance the lives of those we serve, collaborative.
The award will be a trophy and a $300 cash award presented annually at the REDI Annual General Meeting.
All REDI Employees, our clients, their families, employers, other agencies can nominate a REDI Employee for the award. Nominations must be made in writing to the Executive Director’s office using the nomination form that can be found on the REDI website. Nominations must be received by August 31.
The award will be presented at the Annual General Meeting in late September.

This years S.T.A.R Award winner is Crystal Peters!
Crystal Peters is a dedicated and compassionate REDI Enterprises Society employee who exemplifies excellence in personal growth, community involvement, and client service. She maintains strong professional boundaries while actively engaging in self-care and development, including serving on her son's school board. Crystal supports neurodivergent individuals through community events and advocacy, securing vital resources for families in need. Her creative, ethical, and collaborative approach to service delivery inspires others and significantly enhances the lives of those she supports, making her a standout nominee for the S.T.A.R. Award.
