Ways to Support.

From July 1st, to August 31st all bottles received for donation will go towards the support The Action Group or TAG is a group of REDI individuals dedicated to advocacy, and awareness for persons with disabilities throughout Southern Alberta. Their work has influenced several changes in policy in both Medicine Hat, and Brooks. TAG's big advocacy event "Citizens Walkabout" will be held on September 4th in Brooks, and September 5th in Medicine Hat. This event is open to all, and a great opportunity to educate yourself on inclusion in our city.

This year funding was cut for partner advocacy agencies in Lethbridge, Calgary, and Edmonton leaving TAG, and other local disability advocacy groups to continue the fight for equality without provincial support. More than ever, donations are needed to continue education and to support of these members of our community.

The simple act of leaving your bottles for donation at the depot truly goes a long way toward making a difference in your community. What are you waiting for!!
