FASD Education
To better educate professionals on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), REDI has teamed up with the Medicine Hat College social work program to provide strategies on working with FASD clients. Step by Step: Supportive Strategies for Working with Individuals Impacted by FASD is a 2 day conference meant to bring FASD education to Medicine Hat.
CES Does a Fine Job
CES celebrates their 20 year anniversary. Over the last 20 years, CES has grown from a pilot project that employed 6 people with 30 clients each year, to 20+ staff that services over 1,000 walk-in customers each month.
Marshall Makes First Mark On Mural
The local brick mural artist, James Marshall, has been commissioned to create one of his pieces for REDI Enterprises. 860 Allowance Ave is home to this mural that displays the perseverance and dedication of REDI’s clients. Doreen Teel, Henry Ressler, and Kevin Bastel are the subjects of this piece. These 3 exemplify REDI’s mission for community inclusion as they are captured in time while actively participating in local work and activities.
