Waste Away
In an effort to reduce waste taken to the landfill with the Waste Diversion Project, the city of Medicine Hat contracted REDI and Earthworks Environmental Services to run a recycling and composting program. REDI was in charge of multiple drop off locations that would handle plastic, glass, and paper products. REDI was also responsible for baling paper, and granulating plastics and glass at a processing center.
